The “official” gay beach of Cape Town is Clifton (four beautiful, sheltered beaches). Everyone who is anyone goes to tan at Clifton. Sandy Bay is Cape Town’s alternative gay beach. It is at the far end of Llandudno, tucked away in a spectacular setting, with great rocks for sunbathing.
