The Ellington, located right in the heart of the German capital is the dream of architecture buffs. Housed in one of the most eye-catching buildings in Berlin, enjoying protected status, the 1920s Bauhaus design is unique. A truly special dining experience awaits guests at the Ellington's Duke restaurant which features a sun terrace for al fresco dining in the summer and its own historic cellar, with more than 500 varied wines stored behind the original, heavy steel doors of the former vault of the Regional Finance Office. Guests may hand pick the wine to accompany their meal, and even order half bottles if they wish. The Duke's a la carte menu and special include Mediterranean and Asian-inspired dishes, which stand out through their creative and original preparation and presentation. The restaurant sources its fresh ingredients exclusively from Berlin and the local region, and this is reflected in the quality of the produce. There is also an atmospheric smoker's lounge for guests' enjoyment.
