Maintaining its legendary view over Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea since 1924, Gran Hotel La Florida was beloved by Ernest Hemingway, Rock Hudson and royals, amongst others. The hotel reopened in 2005, after extensive renovation which saw it regain its original decorative and structural elements, blending them with modern, luxury design. Wrought iron and antique tapestry are combined gracefully with stainless steel and glass. Now, hotel is once again one of the most prestigious hotels in Spain, set in private gardens on the quiet mountainside suburb of Tibidabo and offering boutique luxury and total relaxation.

Apart from hi-speed internet throughout, there are large 37-metres, heated, indoor and outdoor stainless steel swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center and the full-service Zen Zone spa with sauna, Turkish bath and a host of personal treatments and massages available . The hotel has 2 late-night clubs. La Florida Night Club operates on summer weekends in the pool area, while La Luna, tucked away on the lower level, is an exclusive jazz club open to hotel guests and club members.
