Lesbian and Gay Friendly Hotels in Las Vegas

Las Vegas

Las Vegas gay scene is diversifying and new establishments are opening serving different themes and appealing to the more specialist interests– after all this is the adult-playground of America.

Krave is the only gay club on the strip with a similar set-up to most the nearby clubs with lounge chairs, designer lighting and an extravagant atmosphere.  If you want to avoid the expense of the strip then head to Gipsy that has become one of the best gay clubs in Las Vegas.

There are a couple of districts where you will find a surprisingly small-town-feel gay scene. Paradise Road known as ‘Fruit loop’ has Piranha Boutique Nightclub, Buffalo leather bear bar, and Club Menage on the weekends. The Commercial Center off Sahara Avenue is more popular for locals, it has a quieter tone and more intimate atmosphere with lounge bar The Spotlight and Badlands Saloon country and western bar.

Las Vegas gay pride festival takes place in September at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater and is one of the most flamboyant in the USA with a strong history having been established in 1983.

On the whole the Las Vegas gay bars and clubs may not do the city justice, instead popular gay divas and entertainers that have headlined the big Las Vegas Shows certainly more than make up for it, including Cristina Aguilera, Cher, Elton John, and Bette Midler.

Experience the bright lights of the city from the Fountains of Bellagio, the Eiffel Tower, Stratosphere Tower, and China Town and during the day experience the mighty landscape of the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and the Eldorado Canyon Mine.

If Las Vegas is known as ‘Sin City’ there’s plenty of fun to have, however don’t get married in Las Vegas and expect it to be legal, Nevada still does not recognise same-sex marriage.
