The Flatotel is a 4-star contemporary, intimate and cosmopolitan midtown Manhattan hotel offering spaciously furnished apartment style suites. The hotel design is based on the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright's concept of the hearth being the heart and soul of the house, and every room draws its spirit from the bed, a custom-designed piece that becomes the central element of the room. Averaging over 350 square feet, the standard guestrooms are amongst some of the largest hotel rooms in Manhattan with ample room for all guests to be productive and stretch out during their visit. The decor is modern with shades of white and beige offset with touches of color.

There is complimentary use of the Sky Gym Fitness Center on the 46th floor, with free weights, cardiovascular equipment and an amazing view, as well as free continental breakfast, all the tea and coffee you want, served in the lobby and a newspaper delivered to you daily.

Guest rooms all come with a choice of bed and are mainly decorated with earthy colors, geometric bedspreads and Egyptian linens, compact stylish furnishings, including dresser drawers built into the foot of the bed, standing mirror and work desk with Herman Miller Aeron chair. Bathrooms are made of marble with tile insets and feature Gilchrist Soames bathroom amenities. Rooms also feature a mini fridge, flat-screen satellite TV and laptop compatible safe. Microwaves, coffee/tea makers, DVD Players, VCRs, and i-Pod docking stations are available upon request.
