Urban adventure, dare devil design, and true affordability meet in Hudson, the ultimate lifestyle hotel for the 21st century. Hudson’s climactic lobby will transport you to a dream world that is both captivating and unforgettable. Both Ian Schrager and Phillipe Starck collaborated to produce a collection of unforgettable environments.

The rooms are decorated from richly paneled Makore wood walls to floors imported from Africa. Philippe Starck’s exuberant neo-modern style is complemented by the sensualist fantasy of artist Francesco Clemente’s bedside lamp light-paintings.

The finest amenities available for you include Egyptian cotton linens, plush down duvet and sumptuous bath products from Malin+Goetz. If you had enough of your room, you could always visit the enchanting Private Park with towering 45-foot trees, ivy-covered walls, and an inspired assortment of antique and modern garden furniture. Or should you fancy a drink on 15th-floor Sky Terrace, you can kick back in a teak chair or lazing in a hammock.

The Hudson allows you to enjoy a meal in four different environments.

At the guest only Sky Terrace, you can have some snacks and nibbles while looking out at the city and the Hudson River whereas at the Private Park, guests can feast on food and drinks among 45-foot trees whist lounging in a collection of antique and modern garden furniture.

The Hudson Hall serves premium sustainable-organic products, indigenous to the New York-Hudson Valley area. Dishes highlight a diverse melting pot of cultural references derived from relationships built with boutique farmers and immigrant growers who are providing unique products and ingredients that are seasonal in nature. Designed by Studio Arne Quinze, in collaboration with Morgans' design team, the interior is reminiscent of an Ivy League mess hall with long, wooden communal tables with rustic black finish, contrasting with red brick walls.

One of New York's hottest nightspots from the moment it opened, Hudson Bar in midtown Manhattan is a dazzling venue decorated in a riotous collection of styles. It features a glass floor lit from beneath, a hand painted ceiling by world-renowned artist Francesco Clemente, and furniture design that looks like Louis XV meets 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is the perfect place for drinks, lively conversation, people-watching, and experiencing the undeniable excitement of New York.

Reminiscent of an old English club or drawing room, the Library is the perfect cozy hangout for relaxing by the enormous fireplace, chatting and drinking with friends, shooting billiards, playing a computer game, or reading a book from its extensive collection, including topics ranging from film, theater, fashion and art, to travel and politics. An artful blend of old and new, the Library features an antique billiards table, classic English leather sofas and wing chairs, and antique area rugs residing alongside cyber-desks fitted with state-of-the-art laptop computers.

About the Location

In this city that never sleeps, you will admire the vivaciousness and vibrancy midtown Manhattan has to offer. The Hudson Hotel puts you within easy reach of everything on your New York tick list! It even offers you some tranquility in the midst of it's endless buzz as Central Park has six designated “quiet zones,” including Strawberry Fields and the monument to John Lennon.

Just steps from Columbus Circle and the theater district, The Hudson is a brilliant reflection of the boldness and diversity of the city, while simultaneously representing the next generation of Cheap Chic – stylish, democratic, young at heart and utterly cool.
