We are pleased to announce World Rainbow Hotels, the first ever consortia program aimed at gay & lesbian welcoming hotels worldwide.
Over 850 gay & lesbian welcoming hotels in over 120 destinations are participating in the program, ranging from 3 to 5 star properties located in the most popular destinations for gay and lesbian travellers. Travel professionals will now be better equipped to offer their clients a certified LGBT-friendly hotel.
Only carefully selected hotels have been approved into the program based on World Rainbow Hotels' strict acceptance criteria.
How to book on the GDS
Public commissionable rates
If you are looking to book a World Rainbow Hotel on the GDS, you can search for World Rainbow Hotel specific rates with the rate name of "World Rainbow Hotels BAR". These rates will be found on the GDS in the promotional category, and are commissionable at a hotel's regular commission level.
Confidential, discounted rates
Alternatively, travel agents can book our preferred rates simply by registering online at: http://www.worldrainbowhotels.com/travel-agents/registration. Simply complete the registration form to gain access to our confidential rates. No costs apply to participate in this agreement. Our member hotels offer both enhanced commission and discounted rates for registered agencies. It will only take you a few minutes to register.
Once we have received your registration details we will set your agency up with access to book our Discounted rates on your GDS: using the rate code GY1 (Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan) or GAY (Galileo/Apollo)
How to book online
World Rainbow Hotels will be offering travel agents and tour operators the facility to make bookings for World Rainbow Hotels online and earn commissions as well as gain access discounted and promotional rates.
