    Ever since 1978, the Babylon Hotel the Hague has been a real landmark of The Hague’s streetscape. In the midst of the vibrant Ministerial and Royal heart of The Hague with loads of opportunities for excursions and activities in the immediate surroundings. The hotel boasts Standard and Superior rooms, Junior Suites, an Executive Room, 6 multifunctional meeting rooms and one Executive Boardroom.

    Our spacious and relaxing bar/ restaurant The LivingRoom is situated on the 1st floor. Our Chef strives to cook as biological, vegetarian and vegan as he can.

    We have a very multi-cultural team, with members speaking among other languages: Dutch, English, Spanish, German, Chinese, French and Papiamento.

    Our spacious and relaxing bar/ restaurant The LivingRoom is situated on the 1st floor. The restaurant is opened every day and all day long for breakfast, lunch, drinks & bites and dinner.

    We work according to the principles of the Dutch Cuisine: fresh, local, home-made, because we would like to make healthy and sustainable food more fun and attractive. We herewith not only take care of you as our guest, but also of the earth and her nature. We strive for less waste, honest prices and better/ more animal welfare.

    The Hague is rated as a very LGBTQ+ friendly city. It has several nice squares with spacious terraces, and with many restaurants and bars. The well-known street the Denneweg, with its pleasant vibe, has a sympathetic and social gay bar, called the Landman.

    The famous Mauritshuis Museum is on walking distance of the hotel, as well as the Escher Museum, the Noordeinde (Kings’) Palace, Museum the Prison Gate and the vibrant city center with its many shops.

    Other sights that are within very easy reach by car or public transport are: Scheveningen Beach with the longest boulevard of Europe (and also with a Crazy Piano’s bar with live music), the Westfield Mall of the Netherlands (newest and largest mall of the country), the Louwman Museum, Madurodam, Humanity House and the Photo Museum.
