San Diego Pride

San Diego Pride is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful movement of resilience, unity, and joy.Since 1974, what began as a grassroots march honoring the Stonewall Rebellion has blossomed into one of the largest Pride events in the nation, drawing over 300,000 attendees each year. Held every July, Pride Week kicks off with the Spirit of Stonewall Rally, followed by a vibrant parade through Hillcrest, and culminates in a two-day festival in Balboa Park—San Diego’s largest civic event. The festival features world-class LGBTQ+ entertainment, cultural presentations, community resources, and more.
