Freepoint Hotel - World Rainbow Hotels

Freepoint Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts is launching a pop-up art exhibition series with the aim of showcasing the work of local artists, just in time for Boston Pride celebrations. The programme, entitled Art@Freepoint has already kicked off with partners Maud Morgan Arts with a number of their artists currently on display at the boutique Cambridge hotel and running until the end of the month.

The hotel’s goal is to partner with different local Cambridge arts organizations – one every quarter – and display different works at its lobby and lounge. Proud owners of their own permanent art collection, both inside and outside the hotel premises, Freepoint believes the new initiative will allow to further expand upon their existing art collection, as well as give hotel guests a sense of connection to the local Cambridge community.

After a $6 million renovation last year, Freepoint hotel provides smartly designed guestrooms featuring a distinct Cambridge style with locally-sourced art and furnishings. Deluxe amenities include super-fast complimentary WiFi and hair products by Living Proof, an innovative local company. Guests can also enjoy a well-equipped fitness room, restaurant and bar facilities as well as a complimentary daily shuttle service to local attractions within a 2 mile radius, including Cambridge Business Park and Harvard Square.

Located a short walk (or free shuttle ride) away from the Alewife Train Station, and with an enviable location near MIT, Harvard and Tufts universities, Freepoint hotel offers a great option for visitors to Boston Pride Parade this June.
