Hotel Bel Ami

It doubly deserves its name of «Bel Ami» this charming hotel, ideally located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. First of all, because it is stylish and welcoming. Secondly, because it occupies a building dating from the XIX th century, the former printers which in 1885 released the first copy of the famous novel by Guy de Maupassant, Bel Ami.

With its 108 uniquely designed rooms, its restaurant, bar and its Carita Spa, the Bel Ami Hotel is the quintessential discreet and cozy address of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
It is to Pascal Allaman that has been entrusted the recent renovations of three of the four floors of the hotel. The last refurbishment project was several years ago, and it was necessary to revisit the interior design, «while retaining some elements» specifies the decorator.
The New spirit of the left bank as you enter, two SIlvera bubble armchairs set the tone; the Bel Ami Bar is the relaxation spot of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Géraldine Prieur signed with an audacious spirit, Modern Tie and Dye. An eye like a mirror XXXXL circled by chrome, reflected the fibration of the place, the fabrics for the sofa, the armchair, has signed by local editors, like Osborn and Little, one can contemplate the shelves of the great library with a eclectic book collection, or read in the light of one of the gold Attolo de Vico Magistretti.
